Is North Bennington worth moving to in 2026?

So, I'm a college student here and Crime rate is something to consider -North Bennington sits at 213.4 per 100K. The unemployment rate is 3.1%, which is pretty low. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Property taxes are high but you get good services. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it exceeded my expectations. Feel free to reach out with questions..
