Thinking about relocating to North Bonneville from Indianapolis

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I work in retail and Crime rate is something to consider -North Bonneville sits at 127.5 per 100K. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Should I be concerned? The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Tons of great Southern places. it's been a really good experience overall.

Bought a house here in 2020 and it's improved dramatically in recent years. Property values have gone down slightly since then.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem improving.

I've been here 12 years and it's exactly what I was looking for. The thing nobody mentions is school system. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the job market is legit. And if you're into camping, this place is solid.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The West side vs the Sunset side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Feel free to reach out with questions..
