Why I chose North Caldwell over bigger cities

Hey everyone, Rent is about $3,250/month for a decent place. Crime rate is something to consider -North Caldwell sits at 75.2 per 100K. Household incomes average around $203,140 in North Caldwell. Average temperature is around 53--F, so expect cold winters. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The suburbs are where most families end up. Any help is appreciated. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The weather takes some getting used to. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The suburbs are where most families end up. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The suburbs are where most families end up.
