Hey, I've been here for 13 years and Crime rate is something to consider -North Charleston sits at 966.1 per 100K. The unemployment rate is 2.8%, which is pretty low. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The food scene here is surprisingly good. What would you do? Property taxes are high but you get good services. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The food scene here is surprisingly good.
