Job market in North Chicago for tech?

Alright, I relocated for work and Average temperature is around 48--F, so expect cold winters. Poverty rate is 17.8%, which is higher than I expected. With a population of 30,772, North Chicago is a smaller city. It's a a smaller city city with about 30,772 people. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Any advice would be great. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The weather takes some getting used to.

As someone who grew up here, the quality of life is solid. A lot has changed in the past few years though. safety used to be much manageable but now it's hit or miss.
