Hello, We have two kids and It's a a small town city with about 5,990 people. Poverty rate is 9.4%, which is pretty low. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Would love some local perspective. Appreciate any input. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The weather takes some getting used to. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.
