Top 5 things I love about North Fort Lewis
Poverty rate is 9.4%, which is pretty low. It's a a small town city with about 5,990 people. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

- Good schools

- Rising rent prices
- Mosquitoes and humidity
- Far from major airports
Thanks in advance! I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Property taxes are high but you get good services.
