Not sure if this has been asked before, but Just moved here 6 months ago and The median home value here is around $153,500, which is actually reasonable. Poverty rate is 5.7%, which is pretty low. Rent is about $1,033/month for a decent place. The suburbs are where most families end up. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The weather takes some getting used to. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.
