Hi all, With a population of 8,757, North Haledon is a small town. Homes are going for about $517,200 on average. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. What neighborhoods would you suggest? The suburbs are where most families end up. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

Hot take but it exceeded my expectations. I know a lot of people disagree but after 10 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Bought a house here in 2016 and it's exactly what I was looking for. Property values have gone down slightly since then.

Hot take but I have mixed feelings honestly. I know a lot of people disagree but after 15 years here, that's my honest assessment.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is safety. the quality of life is solid. Worth doing your research before committing.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want pet-friendliness, then yeah this place is great. But if cost of living matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it's been a really good experience overall. Internet is challenging in most areas.

The food scene here is challenging. Tons of great Mexican places. it's not perfect but it works for me.
