What I wish I knew before living in North Judson

I'm a remote worker and It's a a small town city with about 2,094 people. Homes are going for about $128,700 on average. Household incomes average around $59,630 in North Judson. Average temperature is around 50--F, so expect cold winters. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. What do you all think? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

Moved here from Pittsburgh about 10 years ago. the quality of life is solid. Still getting used to traffic but No regrets on my end..
