Rent is about $732/month for a decent place. Crime rate is something to consider -North Kingsville sits at 419.0 per 100K. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

Pros:
- Affordable cost of living
- Easy commute

- Active local events

Cons:

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem challenging.

I've been here 9 years and I'm still on the fence after all this time. The thing nobody mentions is outdoor recreation. It's affordable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the dating scene is legit. And if you're into running, this place is decent.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Highland side vs the East side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..

We moved here with our family and it's been a really good experience overall. Schools in Riverside area are solid. Kids love it here.
