Been meaning to ask this. We have two kids and Rent is about $1,605/month for a decent place. Homes are going for about $372,300 on average. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Thanks in advance! There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 8 years ago from Salt Lake City and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Downtown. It's excellent for what you get.
Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in finance. If you're in retail you might struggle.
People: Generally better than expected. It took about 11 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: excellent. Tons of options if you like Thai.
Good luck with whatever you decide..

The food scene here is challenging. Tons of great farm-to-table places. I have mixed feelings honestly.
