Crime rate is something to consider -North Lauderdale sits at 513.3 per 100K. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. I've been living here for 8 years and I'd say it exceeded my expectations. The community vibe is decent compared to other places I've lived. Overall Feel free to reach out with questions..
