Is North Laurel good for remote workers?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but Homes are going for about $442,800 on average. The city has invested a lot in new development. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Thoughts? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want community vibe, then yeah this place is great. But if cultural scene matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

I've lived in Old Town for about 1 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

the quality of life is solid. When I first moved here from Houston, I was surprised by school system. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Lots of new development happening
- The job market scene is hit or miss

The downsides:
- Winters are long and cold
- Homeless population growing downtown

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for remote workers. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
