North Lynnwood quality of life -am I missing something?

First post here. I grew up here but left for a while. Poverty rate is 6.2%, which is pretty low. The weather takes some getting used to. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a contractor who relocated here from Tampa about 15 years ago. The main reasons were my partner's job and a job opportunity.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Lots of new development happening
- Close to major attractions

Cons that are real:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Can feel isolated

Financially, we've found it excellent compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are pricey, gas is improving.

Socially, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Hope this helps!.
