What's it really like living in North Massapequa?

I'm a 46-year-old accountant and With a population of 18,037, North Massapequa is a small town. The city has invested a lot in new development. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Anyone in a similar situation? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem better than expected.

I've been here 5 years and it's exactly what I was looking for. The thing nobody mentions is healthcare. It's wild and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the community vibe is legit. And if you're into kayaking, this place is better than expected.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Westside side vs the Greenfield side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Feel free to reach out with questions..

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's not perfect but it works for me. Good luck with whatever you decide..
