Random thought, My family moved here when I was a kid. Poverty rate is 14.7%, which is around average. The unemployment rate is 3.4%, which is pretty low. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Should I be concerned? The city has invested a lot in new development. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.
