Is North Miami worth it salary-wise?

First post here. I work in logistics and Rent is about $1,543/month for a decent place. Median household income is $51,909, which feels on the lower side for the area. Poverty rate is 14.7%, which is around average. The median home value here is around $326,300, which seems about average. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The weather takes some getting used to. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem pretty good.

I've been here 10 years and I genuinely enjoy living here. The thing nobody mentions is job market. It's reasonable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the safety is legit. And if you're into camping, this place is tough.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Maple Ridge side vs the Sunset side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Hope this helps!.

As someone who grew up here, I genuinely enjoy living here. A lot has changed in the past few years though. outdoor recreation used to be much developing but now it's improving.
