Moving from Raleigh to North Olmsted next month

I work in hospitality and Rent is about $1,092/month for a decent place. The unemployment rate is 1.9%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $85,435, which feels pretty solid for the area. Crime rate is something to consider -North Olmsted sits at 25.5 per 100K. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The food scene here is surprisingly good. What are your go-to spots? The food scene here is surprisingly good.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 15 years ago from Austin and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Old Town. It's improving for what you get.

Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in healthcare. If you're in real estate you might struggle.

People: Generally challenging. It took about 7 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: improving. Tons of options if you like Asian.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Bought a house here in 2023 and I love the pace of life here. Property values have gone up a bit since then.
