Hey folks, Poverty rate is 3.4%, which is pretty low. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. What are your go-to spots?

I've lived in Greenfield for about 15 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
I'm still on the fence after all this time. When I first moved here from Minneapolis, I was surprised by nightlife. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Four distinct seasons
- Strong sense of community
- The healthcare scene is pretty good
The downsides:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Limited high-paying job options
Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for remote workers. Good luck with whatever you decide..

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem excellent.
I've been here 15 years and it was the best decision I ever made. The thing nobody mentions is community vibe. It's reasonable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the cost of living is legit. And if you're into photography, this place is decent.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The West side vs the Lakewood side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
Definitely worth checking out..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a writer who relocated here from Baltimore about 2 years ago. The main reasons were my partner's job and family.
Pros I've experienced:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Close to major attractions
- Good airport with direct flights
Cons that are real:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Can feel isolated
Financially, we've found it solid compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are manageable, gas is hit or miss.
Socially, I have mixed feelings honestly. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
