Top 5 things I love about North Patchogue

Hi all, We have two kids and Homes are going for about $421,800 on average. Poverty rate is 2.8%, which is pretty low. Household incomes average around $104,698 in North Patchogue. The city has invested a lot in new development. Am I overthinking this? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

I've lived in Springfield for about 11 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I love the pace of life here. When I first moved here from Atlanta, I was surprised by cultural scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Nice parks and green spaces
- The walkability scene is better than expected

The downsides:
- Property taxes are high
- Far from beaches/mountains

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for remote workers. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is dating scene. it exceeded my expectations. Worth doing your research before committing.
