Is North Pembroke worth moving to in 2026?

Hey everyone, Average temperature is around 51--F, so expect cold winters. The median home value here is around $521,400, which is pretty steep. With a population of 3,924, North Pembroke is a small town. Median household income is $177,703, which feels pretty solid for the area. Hot take but it exceeded my expectations. I know a lot of people disagree but after 6 years here, that's my honest assessment.

I've lived in Springfield for about 3 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I have mixed feelings honestly. When I first moved here from Chicago, I was surprised by food scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Four distinct seasons
- The cost of living scene is surprisingly good

The downsides:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for singles. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is cultural scene. it exceeded my expectations. Worth doing your research before committing.
