Couple moving to North Pole from out of state

Hey, I've been here for 17 years and Rent is about $1,281/month for a decent place. Household incomes average around $93,355 in North Pole. Median household income is $93,355, which feels pretty solid for the area. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The city has invested a lot in new development. The suburbs are where most families end up. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem hit or miss.

I've been here 5 years and the quality of life is solid. The thing nobody mentions is community vibe. It's stable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the public transit is legit. And if you're into rock climbing, this place is better than expected.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Greenfield side vs the Uptown side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

No regrets on my end..
