Moving to North Port with kids -good idea?

Hey, I'm originally from Cincinnati and Household incomes average around $81,940 in North Port. Average temperature is around 75--F, so it's warm year-round. The unemployment rate is 2.6%, which is pretty low. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Am I wrong here? The weather takes some getting used to. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The suburbs are where most families end up. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are hit or miss, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
