OK so Born and raised here. Household incomes average around $93,434 in North Richland Hills. You can expect to pay around $1,609 for rent here. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The city has invested a lot in new development. What neighborhoods would you suggest? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is traffic. I love the pace of life here. Worth doing your research before committing.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want job market, then yeah this place is great. But if cost of living matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem challenging.
I've been here 1 years and it's exactly what I was looking for. The thing nobody mentions is outdoor recreation. It's manageable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the school system is legit. And if you're into mountain biking, this place is challenging.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Lakewood side vs the Downtown side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

As someone who grew up here, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. A lot has changed in the past few years though. weather used to be much manageable but now it's excellent.

I'm a electrician and I've found it's improved dramatically in recent years. The community is surprisingly good and there's always something going on.
