What I wish I knew before living in North Ridgeville

Military spouse here. Crime rate is something to consider -North Ridgeville sits at 37.7 per 100K. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Has anyone dealt with this? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Weather-wise, the summers are improving and winters are manageable. You get used to it after the first year.
