Is North Tonawanda still affordable?

Hi all, I'm originally from Pittsburgh and Crime rate is something to consider -North Tonawanda sits at 145.6 per 100K. Household incomes average around $66,774 in North Tonawanda. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Should I be concerned? The city has invested a lot in new development. The suburbs are where most families end up.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
