How is the nightlife in North Vernon?

Hey folks, Rent is about $904/month for a decent place. You can expect to pay around $904 for rent here. Homes are going for about $107,900 on average. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The suburbs are where most families end up. Thoughts? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The city has invested a lot in new development. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The weather takes some getting used to. The suburbs are where most families end up. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value cultural scene, you'll love it. The housing market is genuinely solid and I've found I have mixed feelings honestly. My neighborhood (South) is stable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Denver, be prepared for the culture shock. traffic is completely different here. And Nightlife is limited.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Used to live on the The Heights side, now on the Uptown side. Completely different vibe. it exceeded my expectations.
