Anyone else feel this way? With a population of 10,741, Northbrook is a small town. Homes are going for about $134,800 on average. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The food scene here is surprisingly good. What are your go-to spots? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The suburbs are where most families end up.
