Northchase vs Memphis -which is better?
First post here. I work in hospitality and It's a a small town city with about 5,879 people. The unemployment rate is 14.1%, which is concerning. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Anyone in a similar situation? The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The city has invested a lot in new development. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.
