OK so I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Median household income is $91,656, which feels pretty solid for the area.

Used to live on the North side, now on the East side. Completely different vibe. it's improved dramatically in recent years.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem challenging.
I've been here 11 years and I genuinely enjoy living here. The thing nobody mentions is outdoor recreation. It's reasonable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the outdoor recreation is legit. And if you're into photography, this place is pretty good.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Riverside side vs the North side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
No regrets on my end..
