Worst things about Northdale nobody talks about

Anyone else feel this way? Crime rate is something to consider -Northdale sits at 582.4 per 100K. Poverty rate is 3.4%, which is pretty low. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The suburbs are where most families end up. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. I've lived in West for about 7 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it exceeded my expectations. When I first moved here from Austin, I was surprised by cultural scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Four distinct seasons
- The outdoor recreation scene is hit or miss

The downsides:
- Winters are long and cold
- Road conditions need improvement

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for retirees. Would recommend to anyone considering it..
