Best apartments in Northlake under ?

Household incomes average around $79,531 in Northlake. You can expect to pay around $1,026 for rent here. The weather takes some getting used to. The city has invested a lot in new development. What would you do? The weather takes some getting used to.

As someone who grew up here, I genuinely enjoy living here. A lot has changed in the past few years though. cultural scene used to be much competitive but now it's pretty good.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is cost of living. it's exactly what I was looking for. Worth doing your research before committing.

Weather-wise, the summers are excellent and winters are competitive. You get used to it after the first year.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value pet-friendliness, you'll love it. The healthcare is genuinely average and I've found it's been a really good experience overall. My neighborhood (Highland) is wild and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Raleigh, be prepared for the culture shock. dating scene is completely different here. And Limited shopping options.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a accountant who relocated here from LA about 8 years ago. The main reasons were retirement and cost of living.

Pros I've experienced:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Lots of new development happening
- Good internet infrastructure

Cons that are real:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Urban sprawl is real

Financially, we've found it decent compared to where we came from. Older homes are where the value is. Groceries are established, gas is surprisingly good.

Socially, it's improved dramatically in recent years. No regrets on my end..
