Couple moving to Norton from out of state
Anyone else feel this way? I'm a remote worker and Crime rate is something to consider -Norton sits at 149.9 per 100K. Rent is about $1,108/month for a decent place. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The city has invested a lot in new development. The weather takes some getting used to. Would love some local perspective. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The food scene here is surprisingly good.
