What to expect moving to Norwood?
Hey everyone, I relocated for work and It's a a smaller city city with about 31,380 people. Rent is about $2,056/month for a decent place. You can expect to pay around $2,056 for rent here. Homes are going for about $613,500 on average. With a population of 31,380, Norwood is a smaller city. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Anyone in a similar situation? The city has invested a lot in new development. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.
