Hello, Crime rate is something to consider -Novato sits at 263.7 per 100K. Median household income is $112,193, which feels pretty solid for the area. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Anyone in a similar situation? It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Property taxes are high but you get good services. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.
