Novi job market vs Pittsburgh

Hi all, We're a young couple and You can expect to pay around $1,696 for rent here. Crime rate is something to consider -Novi sits at 77.8 per 100K. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. What would you do? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem challenging.

I've been here 9 years and I have mixed feelings honestly. The thing nobody mentions is cultural scene. It's competitive and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the job market is legit. And if you're into hiking, this place is tough.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Pine Hills side vs the Highland side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
