Commute times in Oak Forest -how bad?

Hey folks, Just moved here 2 months ago and With a population of 26,888, Oak Forest is a smaller city. Homes are going for about $247,800 on average. You can expect to pay around $1,287 for rent here. The unemployment rate is 3.6%, which is pretty low. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Has anyone dealt with this? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. I work in manufacturing here and I'm still on the fence after all this time. The job market for my field is better than expected. No regrets on my end..
