Hey everyone, We're a young couple and With a population of 57,098, Oak Lawn is a smaller city. You can expect to pay around $1,310 for rent here. Average temperature is around 53--F, so expect cold winters. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks for reading. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The city has invested a lot in new development.
