Best restaurants in Oak Park?

I'm retired and Household incomes average around $108,026 in Oak Park. It's a a smaller city city with about 53,315 people. You can expect to pay around $1,456 for rent here. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Thoughts? The suburbs are where most families end up. The city has invested a lot in new development. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The weather takes some getting used to. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. it's been a really good experience overall. Compared to Seattle it's decent.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want outdoor recreation, then yeah this place is great. But if housing market matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
