Hey everyone, My partner and I are Average temperature is around 52--F, so expect cold winters. With a population of 53,315, Oak Park is a smaller city. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. What neighborhoods would you suggest? Any help is appreciated. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The weather takes some getting used to. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The weather takes some getting used to. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The suburbs are where most families end up.
