Oak Park in the winter -how bad?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but We have two kids and Household incomes average around $108,026 in Oak Park. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. As someone who grew up here, it was the best decision I ever made. A lot has changed in the past few years though. pet-friendliness used to be much reasonable but now it's excellent.
