Housing in Oak Park compared to Chicago

Alright, I'm a nurse at the local hospital and It's a a smaller city city with about 29,370 people. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Any advice would be great. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is housing market. it's improved dramatically in recent years. Worth doing your research before committing.
