Anyone regret moving to Oak Ridge?

I work in tech and It's a a small town city with about 7,660 people. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Is this normal for Oak Ridge? The food scene here is surprisingly good.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. it's been a really good experience overall. Compared to Portland it's decent.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is nightlife. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Worth doing your research before committing.

Public transit is excellent here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's been a really good experience overall.

My experience has been mostly positive. it exceeded my expectations. The only thing I'd watch out for is outdoor recreation. Other than that, Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
