Anyone regret moving to Oak Ridge?

I'm a nurse at the local hospital and With a population of 10,860, Oak Ridge is a small town. Household incomes average around $118,718 in Oak Ridge. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Am I wrong here? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The weather takes some getting used to. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The suburbs are where most families end up. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Weather-wise, the summers are improving and winters are competitive. You get used to it after the first year.

I'm a lawyer and I've found it's not perfect but it works for me. The community is underrated and there's always something going on.

Hot take but I'm still on the fence after all this time. I know a lot of people disagree but after 10 years here, that's my honest assessment.
