Oak Ridge quality of life -am I missing something?

Been meaning to ask this. Poverty rate is 7.6%, which is pretty low. Rent is about $1,076/month for a decent place. Crime rate is something to consider -Oak Ridge sits at 385.1 per 100K. The weather takes some getting used to. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. What do you all think? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The city has invested a lot in new development. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The city has invested a lot in new development. Weather-wise, the summers are challenging and winters are competitive. You get used to it after the first year.
