Not sure if this has been asked before, but I work in media and Median household income is $90,379, which feels pretty solid for the area. It's a a smaller city city with about 28,109 people. The weather takes some getting used to. What would you do?

The food scene here is decent. Tons of great Asian places. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now.

My experience has been mostly positive. there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The only thing I'd watch out for is pet-friendliness. Other than that, No regrets on my end..

I've lived in Pine Hills for about 6 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it's been a really good experience overall. When I first moved here from Phoenix, I was surprised by traffic. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Nice parks and green spaces
- The cultural scene scene is excellent
The downsides:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for families. Happy to answer more specific questions..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is cultural scene. it's not perfect but it works for me. Worth doing your research before committing.

I've lived in Fairview for about 8 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it's improved dramatically in recent years. When I first moved here from San Diego, I was surprised by pet-friendliness. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Active local events and festivals
- The community vibe scene is average
The downsides:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Homeless population growing downtown
Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for young professionals. Happy to answer more specific questions..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a writer who relocated here from Chicago about 4 years ago. The main reasons were family and work.
Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Good internet infrastructure
- Active local events and festivals
Cons that are real:
- Winters are long and cold
- Property taxes are high
Financially, we've found it hit or miss compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are developing, gas is improving.
Socially, I love the pace of life here. Hope this helps!.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are surprisingly good, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
