I relocated for work and Poverty rate is 3.7%, which is pretty low. Rent is about $1,452/month for a decent place. With a population of 28,109, Oakdale is a smaller city. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. TIA! The weather takes some getting used to. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.
