My family moved here when I was a kid. Household incomes average around $65,833 in Oakfield. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. What neighborhoods would you suggest? Thanks for reading.

I've lived in Maple Ridge for about 8 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
I have mixed feelings honestly. When I first moved here from Tampa, I was surprised by cost of living. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Decent public transit for the size
- The nightlife scene is solid
The downsides:
- Limited high-paying job options
- Can feel isolated
