Most overrated things about Oakleaf Plantation

Curious what people think. Just moved here 1 months ago and Crime rate is something to consider -Oakleaf Plantation sits at 604.3 per 100K. Homes are going for about $309,300 on average. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Am I overthinking this?

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want weather, then yeah this place is great. But if healthcare matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

My experience has been mostly positive. it exceeded my expectations. The only thing I'd watch out for is school system. Other than that, It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value healthcare, you'll love it. The school system is genuinely surprisingly good and I've found it's not perfect but it works for me. My neighborhood (Riverside) is manageable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Minneapolis, be prepared for the culture shock. traffic is completely different here. And Not a lot of cultural diversity.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
